It's still the same as in the 90s
I attended Piermont Village School 1st-4th grade in the early 90's, so I can not talk to the current schooling but growing up the class sizes were very small and allowed for individual interaction and abstract learning that you won't find in a normal schooling environment. The teachers taught two grades at a time which allowed you to build a relationship that lasted longer than one year and helped excel your learning.
I still tell people to this day that I learned more in my elementary years at Piermont than I did in my entire time in High School. If it were possible I would gladly send my kids to school here and feel confident they were getting a top education tailored to more than one learning style.
